Contract Carriers
When you become a contracted carrier with Leggett & Platt Global Supply Chain, you enjoy a single point of contact that allows you to build effective business relationships.
Asset Fleet
L&P Transportation is Leggett & Platt’s asset motor carrier fleet – an over-the-road carrier servicing Leggett & Platt branches in addition to for-hire situations. Leggett & Platt maintains authority for hauling across the continental United States with a fleet of over 100 tractors.
Tractors and trailers (dry van only) are leased through Penske Truck Leasing. We focus on dry, clean freight, with 80% of our volume being company moves. Driver labor is minimal and involves no hazmat hauling.
L&P Transportation offers sign-on bonuses (re-hires not eligible) and pay is based on CDL experience. Benefits include paid holidays and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, as well as stock and retirement plans.
